What We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your name and email address via Google OAuth (through Clerk). We do not store your Google password. When you purchase access, Stripe processes your payment — we receive only a confirmation that payment succeeded and store no card details.
We store your quiz session data (answers, scores, timestamps) to power your progress tracking and personalized recommendations.
How We Use It
Your data is used exclusively to operate and improve ClackPrep. We use your practice history to show you section breakdowns, generate AI study plans, and send optional progress reminders. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Third-Party Services
- Clerk — Authentication. Handles sign-up, sign-in, and session management.
- Stripe — Payment processing. We never see your card number.
- Supabase — Database. Your quiz sessions and stats are stored here.
- Anthropic Claude — AI features (readiness check, study plan, term explanations). Queries are not stored by us beyond your session.
- PostHog — Product analytics. Anonymous usage events to understand how the app is used.
Data Retention
Your account and session data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion by emailing us — we will remove your account and all associated data within 30 days.
